How your existing domestic tariff category and slab rates keep applying after solar goes in, and what changes on the bill once it does.

Tariff category stays with your connection
Solar doesn't move you to a different tariff class. Your residential category — A-1 and whichever protected or unprotected subcategory applies — still governs how energy and minimum charges are calculated. What changes is the number of units you're importing each month.
Slab progression still applies to whatever you import. A strong solar month can keep your imports low enough to stay in a cheaper slab; a weak one — heavy AC use paired with overcast days, for instance — can push you back up even with panels on the roof.
Reading the bill after solar
Look for a net-metering or adjustment line, labeled however your DISCO labels it, next to the import and export kWh figures if your meter tracks them separately. Judge performance across several months against weather and usage, not from one bill in isolation.
