Net Metering Application Checklist
What to have ready before you apply for net metering, and what typically happens after you submit.
Disclaimer: This page is general information only. Tariffs, net-metering rules, and DISCO procedures change—verify with your distribution company and official NEPRA materials before making purchase or wiring decisions.
Before you apply
Have your latest bill, CNIC, and proof of ownership or tenancy ready, along with a technical proposal from a certified installer — a single-line diagram and equipment datasheets are usually part of that proposal too.
Pull the current application pack directly from your DISCO before you start. Forms and fee schedules change often enough that a guide like this one shouldn't be your only source for them.
After submission
Expect an inspection, a meter change or reprogramming, and eventually a commissioning letter. Hold onto every approval document and the warranty cards for both the inverter and the modules — you'll want them later, whether for a service claim or a future net-metering transfer.
